Providing Artist services for over 25 years
Anger Management — 25 Years of Artist Services
Celebrating 25 years in 2026
Founded and managed by George Allen, Anger Management celebrates 25 years in 2026. From its beginnings in the recording studio and live music industry, the company has grown into a highly respected artist services business, building an enviable client list and an international reputation for professionalism, reliability and excellence.
George’s career began in the studio. From 1995 to 1998, he worked as a studio engineer and manager at Koh-San Studios in Bath, UK, before moving on to manage the opening of Arc, a £1 million, state-of-the-art residential recording studio featuring a Neve VR console.
During his time at Arc, George worked with some of the biggest names in music, including Depeche Mode, Paul Oakenfold, The Stranglers and You Am I. He also worked on the Mercury Prize-nominated Holes in the Wall by The Electric Soft Parade, as well as Tom McRae’s debut album, working with acclaimed producer Chris Hughes.
“I can unreservedly recommend George for his thorough professionalism and expertise. George handles his job with vigour and an attention to detail that has thoroughly impressed me, and compares extremely favourably to his competitors.”

From the studio to the road
In 2001, George left Arc Studios to establish his own company, and began working extensively in the live music industry.
He toured with Van Morrison as a keyboard technician and Stage Manager throughout 2001 and 2002, developing the hands-on experience that would become the foundation of his career in tour management.
“I learnt the grassroots of teching first before stepping up to TM work, and started doing small UK and European tours with bands I knew from the studio days and American acts, The Webb Brothers and OK GO!”
In 2004, George began managing the influential UK alternative rock band The Mission. He reunited the original line-up and set about rebuilding the band’s profile and brand. The results were dramatic: in 2008, The Mission played four consecutive sold-out nights at Shepherds Bush Empire in London, followed by extensive international touring since.
The band’s resurgence continued, culminating in their first UK Top 40 album in 22 years with 2016’s Another Fall from Grace.
George also established Eyes Wide Shut Recordings, an independent record label which, between 2008 and 2019, released more than 70 albums, singles and DVDs.
A global career in live music
Over more than two decades, George has worked across the international live music industry, tour-managing artists and productions across more than 100 countries.
His credits include Clean Bandit, Jessie Ware, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Magic Numbers, Feeder and Jimmy Webb, among many others.
His experience encompasses not only tour management, but also production, artist liaison, promoter representation and the complex logistical demands of international touring.
Since 2021, George has also worked with AMG (Live Nation)as a Promoter Representative and Production Coordinator, further expanding his experience across large-scale live events and productions.
“George is easy to recommend. He is thorough in his duties and has proven to be calm and resourceful when under pressure or if a crisis appears. He has a good attention to detail while not taking his eye off the main goal.”

30 + Years of experience. One constant:
Anger Management has been built on a simple philosophy:
do the job properly, protect the artist, solve the problems be under budget and make sure the show happens.
That approach has earned George the trust of artists, managers, promoters, venues and production teams around the world.
Grammy Award-winning songwriter Jimmy Webb, former Chairman and CEO of the National Academy of Songwriters, describes George’s approach to touring and artist services:
“I have worked with George Allen for years. He is well known to me and my five sons, The Webb Brothers. He is a seasoned tour manager with a deferential and easy-going manner. This hides a steely determination in dealing with venues, promoters and other industry trouble spots. On the road he is a hard driver and puts the show first. He will not hesitate to inconvenience himself for the show or whatever other business is at hand.”
